We will welcome you in a house built more than 100 years ago by our great-grandmother Pina. It is made of Karst rocks coming from her “personal” quarry created in the backyard. Right from the beginning, thanks to its size and location, the house was a holiday resort for the local people who escaped the urban heat looking for a cool place up in the Karst. During the dark times of the Second World War, the rooms were firstly confiscated by the Germans and later commandeered by the New Zealanders whereas the cave became a shelter during the reprisals of the Germans and Tito’s troops. In the 70s the old house took the current aspect and after a recent restoration, it was decided to return to the initial idea by devoting the first floor to tourist hospitality.

  Situated in Aurisina, Stazione 8 has a garden and a terrace. Guests can enjoy garden views.
